Woodbine Racetrack, located in Toronto, Ontario, is Canada's premier Thoroughbred racing venue, renowned for hosting the King's Plate—the oldest continuously run horse race in North America. Established in 1956 by the Ontario Jockey Club (now Woodbine Entertainment Group), the facility features a one-mile synthetic Tapeta track and a 1.5-mile E.P. Taylor turf course, accommodating both left- and right-handed races. Woodbine's racing calendar spans from April through December and includes major events like the Woodbine Mile, Breeders' Stakes, and Canadian International Stakes. Beyond racing, the site offers a casino with over 3,500 slot machines and 100+ table games, as well as dining, entertainment, and future plans for a soccer stadium and hotel complex.
